Complete Termite and Pest Control Services
Pests never take an off season in the South. The best solution to control them is to stay on top of them with our residential quarterly maintenance program. We have designed our four service calls per year to keep pests at bay by treating insects where they are and creating a barrier between their habitat and yours.
Do you have a commercial business or have other specific needs? No problem! We can customize a treatment plan that works for you.
Common Pests We Treat
Termites
Spring is prime termite season as swarmers emerge to establish new colonies. These “silent destroyers” have the ability to chew through wood, flooring, and even wallpaper undetected causing over $5 billion of property damage each year.
Cockroaches
Cockroach management is important for health and safety reasons, as they are known to cause allergic reactions and trigger asthma attacks, especially in children.
Ants
There are more than 700 ant species found in the US, although only about 25 species commonly infest homes. Living and working in large colonies, an ant infestation can quickly spread if left unchecked.
Rodents
Mice can squeeze through spaces as small as a dime and rats can fit through holes the size of a quarter. A female house mouse can birth a dozen babies every 3 weeks. Rats are excellent diggers and can travel up to a mile in a single night in intricate systems called burrows allowing them to travel undetected.
Bed Bugs
Bed Bugs are excellent hitchhikers, easily transported, and are found in virtually every place people tend to gather, including hotels, schools, offices, retail stores, and public transportation.
Fleas
Once a flea becomes an adult, it uses its powerful legs to jump onto a host where it will feed, mate, and lay eggs. Fleas reproduce 400-500 offspring in their lifetime.
Mosquitoes
Mosquitoes are vectors of numerous diseases. It is important to prevent mosquito breeding grounds around your home since mosquitoes can lay eggs in as little as a 1/2 inch of water.
Stinging Insects
Stinging insects such as wasps, hornets, and bees send more than 500,000 people to the emergency room each year. They are especially active during the second half of summer and early fall when the colonies forage for food to sustain their queens during the winter.
Occasional Invaders
These may find their way into your home but are not as common as frequent household pests. Think of them as “drop in guests”. These can include spiders, ticks, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, rasberry / tawny crazy ants, earwigs, silverfish, springtails, millipedes, centipedes, bats, squirrels, opossums, squirrels, armadillos, skunks, snakes, and others.
